I44 Riverside Speedway was hit very hard by an EF3 tornado. The tornado was about 1/4 to 1/2 mile wide as it hit the speedway. Promoters Mark Banister and Gloria Olexia also had their home completely destroyed a few miles east of the trackas the tornado intensified to an EF5. Gloria's daughter was at the home when the two mile wide tornado hit, she was pulled from the wreckage very shaken, but unharmed. They finally found refuge late last night, but are reunited and safe. The Car Crafters, Mollenkopf/Guthrie racing team had another decent showing last night at I-44 speedway. Adam and Sean were starting 3rd and 6th in the first non wing heat race, pulling on the track a radiator hose fell off of Adam's car. Sean made a mistake on the start and fell all the way to 8th. Last night we had some fun here at the I-44 speedway in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Sean Guthrie and Adam Mollenkopf ran the Non Wing class last night. There were over 100 cars in the pits last night, 33 in the non wing class. Sean started 7th and ran 6th after falling back to 8th at the start of the heat race.
