My parents and grandparents started taking me to races just 3 months after being born. With being around the races for most of my life and watching my grandfather, it was only a matter of time before I got involved. As the years went by, I spent my time day dreaming of someday getting to drive my own car. I would even sneak into the pits promising not to get out of the trailer, just to be closer to the action. I went to every kind of race possible while I was waiting to get old enough to drive. I got many racing video games and practiced. I would pretend I was Bill Utz or Steve Kinser. After 13 years of dreaming and plotting some way to get in a race car, my grandfather presented me with my first race schedule. I raced a 250cc micro at Sweet Springs for the next two years picking up 13 feature wins and a track championship. At this point we decided it was time to move up. In 2006 I started racing a 600cc micro sprint. Then off to sprints in 2008. We ran 305 and 360 sprint cars off and on until 2020 where we switched back to micros to allow my 7 year old daughter Brooklynn to begin racing a Junior Sprint.
